| The Escort 8500 is a superb
radar detector, which is installed in the windshield
as like the VRX-65.
The E8500 is nearly equal in performance to the VRX65, but
does not offer voice alerts. It can detect POP 3 Burst K and
Ka radar and is invisible to VG2 and Spectre RDD, although
not quite as good as the VRX65 or VRX75.
For its cost, it is the 2nd best windshield mounted, radar
detector to purchase for car and truck applications as well
as long haul drivers. |
